Finding Topic and Topic Sentence of Descriptive text

In the previous post we have discussed about narrative text material, today we will discuss "finding Topics and Topics sentence of Descriptive e text" material.

I will include an example of a Descriptive text that we will discuss to find the topic and topic sentence.

My Pet

I have a pet that is a cat. My father brought it from my aunt's house, the cat was given to my father because my aunt already has many cats. I gave him the name Snowy and he is a boy.

Snowy is now almost two years old. He has a mix pattern of gray and white, his eyes are yellow and round, his fur is not too long but not too short because he is a mix between an Anggora cat and an ordinary cat. He also has legs that are not too long, but not too short either. He is very attractive, in the morning he is always at his diner to ask for breakfast. After that he ran to catch the insects that were flying in front of him and sometimes played with the things in front of him.

In addition, I routinely bathe her once a week and clean her ears and also trim her nails when they are long. I also often play with him to get rid of my boredom, it turns out that playing with pets is fun.

From the text, we can conclude that : 

Sentence in Red is a Topic Sentence

Sentence in Blue is the Detail 1

Sentence in Green is the Detail 2

Sentence in Purple is the concluding
